Parklane Gallery’s artists offer an unmatched variety of art for every taste and every venue.
I have always considered myself a painter, I love color and design which I use to express my vision of people or places around me.
After receiving my B.A. in Fine Arts at Wayne State University in Michigan, I spent a number of years painting for pleasure while I taught English as a second language. After retirement, painting became my passion. I have worked in watercolor, acrylic, pastels and mosaics and entered many juried exhibits where I received awards. In addition, I am featured in 5 books about mosaics.

Since moving to Seattle in 2015, I have needed to change mediums due to space restrictions. I now use small pieces of paper, much of it hand painted and printed, to create what I call “paper mosaics”. Some pieces are as small as a grain of rice and others may be several inches in size. The results are works which have the appearance of paintings. Much of my new work depicts the Seattle area, a place I have come to love and which provides me with endless inspiration
