I grew up in Seattle and graduated from the University of Washington, but after a career as an accountant, I realized I had taken the wrong classes back in the 70’s.
I restarted 25 years later doing things that make my life more fun. My art is a combination of my love for collecting stones and pearls and my wire working skills. I have been working with sterling silver wire for over 20 years and now it is second nature to me. I was lucky as a child to learn needlework techniques and to build on those as an adult. You will see in my work a combination of techniques to make what I hope you find as unique designs. I continue to learn new techniques to push my design further and make my work ever changing. I am very particular about materials used and construction quality of my pieces. I try to keep my work fresh and with an edge. Jewelry making has become a huge part of my life and I would be lost without this creative outlet.
The last few years I have been fortunate to have taken classes and workshops from the masters. I feel my work has been taken up a level and I have expanded to include wire sculpture, inspired by Ruth Asawa.
