Irena Jablonski

Irena Jablonski and her husband had left their native Poland in early eighties and moved to South Africa where she spent fourteen years working as a structural engineer. They moved to California in the mid 1990’s and Jablonski started her decade long art education in the California Art Institute in Thousand Oaks. Recently they moved to the Seattle area where Jablonski immediately felt like finally coming home.
Jablonski has had representation in galleries in California, Arizona and France. Her work has been published with International Artist magazine, Oil Painters of America, TAG Gallery and the California Art Institute.
My figurative paintings are purely impressionist or influenced by the American post-impressionism or classical realistic. I paint with all I know and all I feel – I paint with my very being.
