Linda Harris

Linda was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Linda grew up in Issaquah, WA., a very small town in the 50’s. She was able to spend time roaming the forests in the valley all around the town. That’s where she learned to love nature. She had a natural gift of drawing and a vivid imagination. She always took part in school art classes and projects.

After high school she attended Redmond School of Fine Art and studied pastel and oil painting under Doris Jean Colvin, a graduate of Dayton Art Institute and a classmate of another famous Northwest artist, Hulan Fleming. Linda also took workshops from some fine NW artists that she admired. She raised a family of 3 children and is now a grandmother and great grandmother. She has a 30 year career at Boeing. She is basically a self taught artist.

She is a member of Evergreen Association of Fine Arts, Mt. Si Artists Guild, Mercer Island Visual Arts League and a Signature Member of Puget Sound Group of Northwest Artists. She is represented by Mival Gallery, Tsuga Gallery, SnoValley Gallery and Parklane Gallery.
